Inexact Hypothetical "In motion" and "At rest" Objects

            When I used to teach students in a classroom about sociology and political science, I would repeatedly ask new students, after about an hour of class time, if they were sitting in the same place as when the class began. Rarely would someone answer: "No, because the Earth is rotating on its axis and therefore we have moved from where we were when we started the class to where we are now at this moment".
            But, even that answer is a partial evaluation about the kinds and levels of motion that we undergo at every moment of our lives. A more complete answer, although not the complete one, would be as follows.
The motion of a matter-energy event on planet Earth references various levels, as indicated in the conditions of existence summarized below.
