"The Neutronic Schemata of the Elements
and the Extension of the Periodic Table"

will be presented at a poster session in

PITTCON 2006
The Pittsburgh Conference on
Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy

(to be held in March, 2006, Orlando, Florida)

by Charles William Johnson

At Pittcon 2001 and 2002 respectively, I presented the research findings of The Electronic and The Neutronic Schemata of the Elements. These schemata presented up to 118 elements. Now, at the Pittsburgh Conference 2006, I will be presenting the extension of the neutron schemata of the elements for up to 170 elements.

The neutronic schemata are based upon the neutron count of the first twenty representative elements. These twenty elements establish a baseline of neutron periodicity and nucleonic equilibrium. Based upon these basic concepts, the neutronic schemata of the elements present color-coded renderings of patterns that reflect translation, reflective and centro-symmetries for many of the characteristics and properties of the elements. Most of these patterns are unavailable on the conventional periodic table of the elements due to its dismembered format. The distinctive patterns portray predictability in their appearance on the schemata.

Although doubts are expressed regarding the possible existence of elements beyond 118 up to 170, the theoretical exercise in projecting the extension of the schemata to such a degree allows for considerations to be made regarding the cited patterns. The extended schemata of the elements portray very definite patterns that are predictable and follow the periodicity of the elements, based not only on the electron configuration of the elements but also on their neutron configuration numbers.

If you attend the Pittsburgh Conference in 2006, please visit us to receive a free 8.5" x 10.5" laminated schema of the elements, by handing in a printout of this web page.
