    Extract

The Solar System: Ancient Symmetry represents a collection of essays that examine the underlying symmetry of the solar system in its mathematical expression of terms. The symmetry of the solar system is reflected in the measurement of space-time/movement, and in the forms of matter-energy.

Our study is based upon procedures that appear to be suggested by the ancient reckoning counts of time cycles. All too often, the ancient reckoning is considered to have been erroneous. The day-counts of 260c and 360c calendars are frequently cited as having been achieved out of error. Yet, we shall read how the internal rotation of the Sun reflects a similar ratio of numbers. In fact, we shall read how many different aspects of matter-energy, especially within our solar system, reflect just such a relationship.

The 360c becomes to be determinant in studying the solar system. So much so, that we have proposed the use of an astronomical unit (AU) based upon the Mercury/Sun distance of 36,000,000 miles. To our pleasant surprise, recently, we have encountered another author who has written along this same vein. Mr. Alan Bennett (www.evolutionoftruth.com) proposed a similar analysis over a year ago. We have employed the AU based upon the 36c, which fits nicely into the other measurements and relations of the solar system. But, not only that, the 36c AU bodes well for the ancient reckoning systems of the maya and the kemi.

There is an exact symmetry among the inner planets, which has somehow been overlooked in the literature on astronomy. There are, in fact, many relations of symmetry within the solar system that have gone unnoticed. By utilizing the ancient reckoning numbers and their fractal expressions, one is able to better discern some of these symmetries. That is the object pursued in this collection of essays.

The symmetries, then, are not simply the result of manipulating numbers and employing ancient day-counts, but rather of utilizing the data from different contemporary sources (such as the data from NASA). With this data, we are able to see that the symmetries lie within space-time/movement itself, and not simply within a mystical ancient process of reasoning. In other words, the ancient reckoning system reflects the mathematical expression of matter-energy itself. And, matter-energy itself reflects in turn symmetries that have a precise mathematical expression, which reveals patterns and designs. These patterns and designs are suggestive of something beyond a mere coincidence of results coming from the "Big Bang", so to speak. The patterns of symmetry defy the very concept of a chaotic explosion of matter and energy.

The conclusion of this work is represented in the idea that the ancient reckoning system did not impose upon reality a pre-conceived idea of symmetry, but rather that the symmetry within nature possibly determined that of the ancient reckoning system. This would mean that the ancient reckoning system is far more exact than what is currently imagined. It is often said that the Earth's moon just happens to be 400 times smaller than the Sun, thereby producing the incredible eclipses that we often see. The question discussed herein concerns that little concept of "happenstance". It would appear that a determinant relationship like the ratio between the Moon and the Sun did not develop out of mere happenstance.
