The Temperature Scale’s Baseline is Founded upon,
the Mantissa of the Square Root of Three (.732050808)

New Orleans, LA.- 1 January 2005– In the Earth/matriX series, Charles William Johnson has published a study, Particle Mass Difference, that examines the difference between the proton and neutron masses:

1.6749286 - 1.6726231 = .0023055

Logically enough, if the distinct atomic and sub-atomic particles exist and behave as of distinct quanta, or packets of energy, then it is reasonable to consider the idea that the differences among the cited quanta are equally significant. In his study, Johnson proposes the idea of an existing baseline for the thermodynamic temperature scale based upon the mantissa of the square root of three, .732050808.

Johnson compares the concept of an ideal theoretical temperature scale based on the square root of three (1.732050808) and the relationship of the measured scale of Kelvin, absolute zero, freezing water (273.15), and boiling water (373.15). In doing so, Johnson reveals how the concepts of a mass difference factor (2.3055c) and mass defect (2.388c) determine the difference between the theoretical temperature scale and the measured scales in use today.

The thesis represents an explanation of how the practical temperature scale is relational to and based upon the square root of three. A temperature scale based upon the square root of three (1.732050808) has as its baseline the mantissa expression, .732050808. The theoretical scale is thereby 73.2050808, 1.732050808, 2.732060808 and 3.732050808. Johnson explains further the significance of the next logical step on the temperature scale, 473.2050808.

Johnson’s book, Particle Mass Difference explains the relationship of the difference factor (2.3055c) to the theoretical and practical thermodynamic temperature scales. View additional information on the Earth/matriX web-site www.earthmatrix.com and www.theschemata.com.
